Noorani Qaaida with Shaykh Abdullah DVD Collection

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.”

It is expected of every Muslim to learn to read the Quran. However, just knowing how to read it not enough. Making an effort to pronounce each letter properly and stringing these sounds together to create words is important. Many find this difficult as Arabic is not their native tongue so for this reason cannot pronounce the Arabic letters accordingly. The process is difficult, however, not impossible. Reaching the peak of nearly flawless Tajweed can be done but requires patience, practice, and guidance. For this reason, Shaykh Abdullah Khan with the help of Suffa Islamic Seminary has created a DVD collection based around the well-known Noorani Qaaida.

This DVD collection is a 3-disc set. It takes you step by step from recognizing the letters to in-depth Tajweed rules. There is a total of 44 lessons on the DVD. The DVD cost $50.
If you would like your own copy they are sold at the Suffa Office located in the IANT Masjid.

The Teacher: Shaykh Abdullah Khan

Shaykh Abdullah is the Tajweed teacher at IANT Quranic Academy (IQA) located in Richardson, Texas. He is quite well-known in the DFW region for both his style of teaching and recitation. Below is a video of him reciting at the IQA Graduation.
